The Lewis
Funeral Home is located at the inter-section of South W.W. White Road and Leonidas Drive. The
business had previously operated at 230
North Center Street until 1979 when it moved to 1207 South Hackberry Street.
After twenty years in that location at Hackberry and Florida Streets, the staff
of Lewis Funeral Home saw the need to relocate to larger, more accessible
facilities to better serve its patronage and moved to its current location at
811 So. WW White Rd.
The current location is more centrally located, is more readily
accessible, and provides for more dedicated, adjacent parking than the
Hackberry location.
a. Take
Interstate Highway 10 to the South W.W. White exit, then South for approximately
one mile.
b. From
central San Antonio, East on Martin Luther King Drive past the Martin Luther
King Freedom Bridge to South W.W.White, then turn left one quarter mile; or,
East on Houston Street to W.W.White, then turn right for about two blocks.
